SecretSpots connects you with verified local guides who offer personalized tours. Browse guides in your destination city, check their availability, and book a tour that fits your schedule. Your guide will show you authentic local experiences and hidden gems that most tourists never discover.

Find a guide you like on a city page, click their profile, and select 'Book This Guide'. Choose your preferred date and time slot, select the tour duration and number of people, then complete the booking. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the tour for a full refund. Contact your guide directly through the platform or email us at support@secretspots.com for assistance with cancellations.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can pay with any major credit card. The full amount is charged when you complete your booking.

Yes! All guides go through our verification process. We review their application, verify their local knowledge, and ensure they meet our quality standards before they can accept bookings.

Absolutely! When booking, you can specify the number of people in your group. Pricing is per person per hour, and some guides may have a maximum group size to ensure quality experiences.

Tours are available in multiple languages depending on the guide. Each guide lists the languages they speak on their profile. If a guide offers multiple languages, you'll choose your preferred language when booking.

Your guide will be holding a large SecretSpots logo sign at the designated meeting point. The exact meeting location is shown on the booking page and in your confirmation email. Look for someone holding our distinctive teal SecretSpots sign – they'll be easy to spot!

Create an account, then click 'Become a Guide' to submit your application. Tell us about your city, languages, specialties, and what makes your tours unique. We'll review your application within 48 hours.

You set your own hourly rate (per person). Our commission is tiered based on group size: 0% for 1 person, 3% for 2 person, 6% for 3 person, 9% for 4 person, up to 30% for 11+ people. The more guests per tour, the higher your total earnings even with the commission.

Once you connect your Stripe account, payments are automatically transferred to your bank after each confirmed booking. Stripe handles all payment processing securely.

In your 'My Tours' dashboard, go to 'Your Availability' to set which days and hours you're available for tours. You can also block specific dates when you're not available.

Yes! In your guide dashboard, you can toggle your profile visibility. When hidden, travelers won't be able to find or book you until you make your profile visible again.

Yes! Every guide can generate and print professional flyers with their unique QR code. Go to 'My Tours' and click 'Print Flyer' to download a customizable flyer you can distribute in your city.

Featured Guides appear at the top of city pages with a special badge, getting more visibility and bookings. Featured Guides also get access to Pro Edit Tools, allowing them to customize their profile with a personalized tagline and detailed 'About Me' section. You can purchase featured status from your dashboard.

Complete your profile with a great photo and detailed bio, set competitive rates, respond quickly to inquiries, provide excellent tours to get good reviews, and consider becoming a Featured Guide for more visibility.
